Car Clubs Love Kingaroy

Kingaroy is the perfect place for car clubs to visit for a weekend getaway.

At Motel Oasis we are delighted that both the Mini Car Club and the Lockyer Water Vintage Car Clubs have come to stay with us, and both visits were wonderful! We have a huge carpark – so there’s plenty of room for everyone to park off the street.

For car clubs, the drive up the Daguilar Highway is lovely, and their plenty of places to stop along the way.

Mini Car Club Visit

When the car club members arrived here at Motel Oasis they quickly settled into their rooms and gathered for a cold drink in our garden terrace bar, before joining us for a home-cooked buffet dinner in our restaurant.

We had a great night with the club members. They ran raffles, tested themselves on their trivia knowledge and of course talked for hours about their beautiful cars. It was quite a jolly night.

Of course having all the facilities they needed on site meant they were able to have a couple of drinks and walk back to their rooms without having to worry about driving anywhere.

The following morning everyone joined us in our restaurant for a big brekkie. Then all the drivers assembled for an impressive “drive through” and headed back to Brisbane along the scenic route via the kart racing and wine trail.
